Sustainability
At CUBE Antwerp, we take sustainability very seriously. With our business centre, we want to actively contribute to a better environment.
CUBE Antwerp has undertaken some initiatives to reduce negative environmental impact. The office building has additional roof insulation, solar panels and a heat pump since 2023. Our energy management system controls air conditioning and lighting. It also monitors CO2 levels in each office space and automatically adjusts air flows to maintain air quality.
Charging stations
There are several charging stations in the parking lot right next to the office building. Some charging stations in the parking lot are used by the law firm Caluwaerts Uytterhoeven, which is also located in the building. There are also some at the disposal of the visitors of the CUBE Antwerp business centre.
Solar panels and a heat pump
The building is equipped with solar panels and a heat pump. We opted for these sustainable ways to heat the entire office building, significantly reducing CO2 emissions.
Drinking water system
We installed a drinking water system with both still and sparkling water. This way, we avoid the CO2 emissions of transport and refrigeration of bottled water. That way, we will also reduce waste as we save plastic bottles.
In the future,
we want to continue focusing on sustainability.
